Accessibility

At ZestYears, we’re committed to making vibrant living accessible to all. Our mission is to empower adults 55+ through engaging content that supports wellness, joy, and connection. That includes ensuring everyone can access and enjoy our site, regardless of ability.

Our Commitment

We believe inclusive design is essential. Accessibility is not just a technical standard—it reflects our values. We are actively working to ensure ZestYears is usable by the broadest possible audience, including individuals who use assistive technologies or alternative access methods.

Measures We’re Taking

ZestYears follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Levels A and AA. These internationally recognized standards guide our efforts to create inclusive, user-friendly digital content.

Our website is built on Elementor with attention to accessible design practices, including proper heading structure, descriptive alt text, and navigable layouts to support screen readers and keyboard use.

We also:

  • Conduct regular accessibility checks using automated tools and manual testing
  • Ensure readable font sizes, strong color contrast, and consistent layout structure
  • Avoid motion or flashing elements that may cause discomfort

Known Limitations

As our content library continues to grow, some pages may still be in the process of being reviewed and fully optimized for accessibility. In addition, certain third-party tools or embedded features may not yet meet full accessibility standards.

We are actively working to address these areas. Making the site accessible is not just a task on our list—it is a priority because it matters to us.
